In short: ELRU uses no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. We do not profile you or sell your data.

1. What we use

This site relies only on limited, strictly-necessary storage that is exempt from consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR):

Local storage — elru_cookie_ok: remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it doesn’t reappear. Stored in your browser only.
Cloudflare security cookie — __cf_bm (and similar): set by our infrastructure provider to tell humans from bots and keep the site secure. It contains no advertising identifier.

2. What we do NOT use

No Google Analytics or any third-party analytics.
No advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking pixels.
No cross-site profiling or data sold to third parties.

3. How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the items above will not stop the site working, though the cookie notice may reappear on each visit.
